Fred Grewe is our Intentional Interim Pastor at First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, in Ashland, Oregon!
A recently Retired Board-Certified Chaplain (Association of Professional Chaplains) Fred holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, and a master’s degree from the Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis. Fred has written several peer reviewed articles and has presented workshops at numerous regional and national conferences on death and dying. His first book, “What the Dying have Taught Me about Living,” was published by Pilgrim Press.
Pastor Fred is lovingly supported by his wife Nancy and their two poodles, Shanti and Tootsie. Fred believes he is a mystery – even to himself. Although he jokingly describes himself simply as an aging, bald, white man, Fred believes God loves him (and everyone else) very much. He is convinced that the power of this belief has helped transform him from being a frightened, angry, little man into a more loving and considerate human being.
Fred’s workdays are Wednesdays through Sundays. His phone number is 541-631-1084 and his email address is minister@ashlandpeacechurch.org
Fred, Recent Pics of you and your wife makes me smile. I respect your faith and still remember our times together. I really miss your honesty and input. Thankful here. No problem if don’t respond but grateful for you. Blessings and honor.
My dear brother … have thought of you fondly over the years … I am well, a pastor, and happy. I hope you and Marcia and the kids are all well? Have you retired yet?
With love,
Fred
